Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and have been asked a lot about them ever since. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! Where can I find Golden Goose sneakers?
Cettire had them on sale and I jumped on it right away!
I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were at my door by the 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast .
What’s the going rate?
Back in April, I managed to get them for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.
These sneakers typically cost anywhere between $410 and $1,700, depending on how customized they are.
Do they fit as expected?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36.
They haven’t stretched much, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up a size
Is the comfort worth it?
They only needed minimal break-in time..
How durable are they?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
These are the best sneakers I own. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They have a hidden arch lift that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is one of a kind. And the sparkle on mine? Next-level.
Would you recommend them?
Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re expensive, so getting them discounted is smarter. They’re worth the investment, especially if you find a style that suits you. Mine have pink glitter, but a minimalist version would also look great.
